Graduate of the University of London, School of Slavonic and East-European Studies,  (MA - 1981)

PhD - Pedagogical Academy of Czestochowa, Poland (2004)


 Since 1989 he has been Keeper of Archives of the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum in London.


Author, co-author and editor of several books and articles concerning Polish military contemporary history.


He is a member of Council of the Polish Archival Heritage, Polish Historical Society in Great Britain and of the editorial boards of the historical journals "Teki Historyczne" and "Mars"
